Shot Glasses Staff

Rob Neverson
Czartender. Co-Owner of Shot Glasses. Aspiring Despot.

Most people see Rob as an abrasive and unapologetic egotist. These people are essentially accurate. But in his own mind, Rob is the perfect hero that this flawed world needs to save it from itself.

Rob opened Shot Glasses because he likes having a place where he can drink for free, play video games, and share his infallible opinions with the world. It was even was worth working with Gary, his sworn nemesis since an unspeakable incident back in Junior High School.

Rob is surprisingly handy with tools. There’s nothing he can’t build, fix, or take apart. When he feels like it.

“I mean, c’mooon. How do you guys expect to beat me?”

Gary Smith
Manager. Co-Owner of Shot Glasses. Post-Modern Hipster Doofus.

Gary marches to the beat of his own drum, except the drum is some obscure instrument that you’ve probably never heard of. He likes liking things, especially when no one else likes them. It’s not about being unique; uniqueness is too mainstream, he prefers to be peculiar.

Gary dumped his life savings into opening Shot Glasses because he enjoys the juxtaposition of “the unpopular kids” and alcohol. Plus he gets the chance to work with Rob, his best friend despite an unspeakable incident back in Junior High School.

Gary is allergic to gluten, wheat, peanuts, tree nuts, seafood, shellfish, lactose, eggplant seeds, and FD&C Red Dye 40 (Red #40). Hard liquor is one of the few things he can safely imbide. Needless to say, he imbides a lot of it.

“This is where you fall down.”

Gen Reid
Head Bartender. Role Player. Cosplay Wizard.

Gen wants to be the very best, like no one ever was, but she doesn’t know at what yet. She treats life like a game, but it’s not a speed run. She’s having too much fun maxing out her skills and finding new side quests.

Gen always wanted a job where it was safe to be herself, and Shot Glasses was a perfect fit. At Shot Glasses, Gen can earn enough money to pay off her massive student debt, have fun on a daily basis, and be free of the explotation she faced at previous jobs.

Gen’s has had Sheng Long – her Charizard from Pokemon Red – for over ten years. He is her best friend and Gen has promised to find a way to transfer him to into the newer generations of games.

“You must defeat Sheng Long to stand a chance.”
